The Music of Fula.

Fula was formed by a group of like-minded souls to produce music in the classic progressive-rock style - utilising unusual timings and non-traditional structure - yet maintaining accessibility. The result is a fairly unique sound which forms challenging, yet enjoyable listening.

Fula's first ever recording was Beyond the Merrygolight - a cassette only release produced in 1995. This featured the original line-up of Nadeen Plant on vocals, Rob Gould on Keyboards, Jason Gilman on guitar and Nigel Moss on bass guitar. Percussion was provided by a borrowed drum machine, programmed by Rob. The album was recorded in Rob's flat on a Yamaha 4 track, resulting in track-bouncing a plenty!

Since then, the band have invested in a Korg digital 8 track recorder. It was on this that they recorded their popular CD Dark Matter in the summer of 1999, and their latest release, The Beautiful, The Delicate, & The True.
